Volkswagen has launched a new interactive advertising campaign that shows the dangers of texting whilst driving. They used a location specific broadcaster to send a text message to everyone in a cinema in China as part of their campaign to make road users aware that mobile use is a leading cause of death behind the wheel. The unsuspecting movie-goers were caught out when a text was sent to them as the advert rolled and most checked their mobiles, before they knew it the vision of the car driving had crashed.
