Your thoughts on the shock election result

A MASSIVE 89 per cent of the Big Rigs community believe that Scott Morrison is the best person to lead Australia.

The Prime Minister was returned to office in the recent election the Labor party was tipped to win.

Big Rigs posed the question "did we get the right result for the trucking industry?” on our Facebook page and more than 1400 people voted.

Michael Blythe said considering "Billy Boy (former Labor leader Bill Shorten) wanted to get owner-drivers off the road, I'd say this is an outstanding result”.

Ken R Beggs echoed Michael's sentiments.

"A good outcome for owner drivers, they get to keep their businesses. No safe rates crap to worry about.”

Vernon Deer said Morrison, as far as the trucking industry was concerned, was "by far the better choice”.

"It will be better for the country as a whole if the independents hold the balance of power in the Senate, but failing that, we'd be worse off as a country if Shorten won.”

Mal Hardes said: "The TWU killed Bill. Likely to do the same to the next one”.

Rod Delriego joked, "Let's see how long Scummo holds the job before he gets knifed in the back”.
