Yamba a holiday treat for Matt

A BUSY electrician from north Brisbane, Matt Biondic, 23, has enjoyed the beautiful weather and the chance to get away to Yamba with his family over the Easter break.

The family connection is no understatement as the touring party included mum, dad, sisters, a brother, cousins and two uncles.

"We are staying with my uncle's girlfriend's grandmother," he said

"We went down to Spooky Beach yesterday, it was amazing," Mr Biondic said.

He has also spent time at the Blue Pools jumping off the cliffs and was entertained by a random fire twirler who put on an impromptu show down near Turners Beach on Sunday night.

The big breakfast at the Yamba Backpackers was also a highlight.

But all good things must come to an end and Mr Biondic was bracing himself for the four-hour trip home at around lunchtime yesterday. He needs to be back at work today.

"We have heard the traffic is terrible so we are going to wait a while. I hate the traffic," he said.

"It has been an amazing break, and great weather," he said.
