Woman rushed to hospital after Killarney Cup
A WOMAN was rushed to Warwick Hopsital this afternoon after she fainted at the Killarney Cup in Warwick.
Paramedic Jarrod Walker was stationed at the scene, waiting for the first race to begin when the 79-year old collapsed beside her family.
An ambulance was called to the race course at 1.36pm and the woman was alert and talking when she was taken to hospital, where she is now believed to be in a stable condition.
Mr Walker said fainting was usually a sign of low blood pressure but couldn't be sure as to the cause.
Her family followed her to the hospital.
