Wine and food day an 'outstanding success'

THE Mackay Festival of Arts Wine and Food Day has attracted a big crowd to Queens park.
The day is a key event in Mackay Mazda's Festival of Art program, and has lately risen in popularity.
The event was staged by the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre. MECC manager Andrew Bobeldyk said the day was an outstanding success. He said by 5pm there had been in excess of 30,000 people through the gates and many were still there having a good time.
