WATCH: Gladstone boy sings on stage with Guy Sebastian

JACOB Larner, 12, didn't think his luck could get any better, sitting in the audience of the Guy Sebastian concert at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.

So when he was called up on stage to sing, it was a dream coming true.

Jacob (pictured with Chris Sebastian) was one of three people invited to sing the chorus of Sebastian's hit Who's That Girl.

His voice and confidence had the backing of the crowd, and he won first place, taking home a hoodie.

Mum Chantelle Amos said normally, the only time Jacob would sing was in his room.

"We've been trying to get him to meet Guy ever since the show was announced," she said.

"We asked them before the show too if there was a meet and greet and there wasn't so he was quite upset."

The show was a sell out, with 674 people in the audience.

"He's always been a fan of his because we watch X Factor," she said.
