Mindfulness Yoga for Kids
When: Monday, 2.15pm to 2.45pm, and Saturday, 10.15am to 10.45am, during school holidays

Cost: $30 per child or $50 for two children
What: Introduce your children to the mindfulness of yoga at the Salt Caves this school holidays. There is no charge for one accompanying adult, and bookings are required. Call 4659 9269 to book.
Under Construction
When: weekdays from Monday, June 26, to Friday, July 7, 10am, 11.30am, 1pm
Where: Cobb+Co Museum, 27 Lindsay St
Cost: $10 per child
What: Dream it. Design it. Build it. Enter the Construction Zone to make your own creations using Lego, Duplo and other construction materials. Learn how to design and build the strongest, biggest, tallest structures, and see how to make and program robots. Enter the daily construction challenge, follow the yellow brick trail and more!
Big Bubble Show
When: Monday, June 26, to Friday, June 30, 10am and 2pm daily
Where: Toowoomba Plaza, Ruthven St
Cost: Free
What: See the magnificent Dr Hubble (sideshow performer Shep Huntly) create amazing bubbles. Bubbles inside of bubbles, a square bubble and the new exploda-bubble! Glass Bead Art
When: Thursday, June 29, 9am to noon
Where: Cobb+Co Museum, 27 Lindsay St
Cost: $85 including all materials and tuition
What: Learn the art of glass bead art, a craft that dates back nearly 3000 years. Teens will experience the thrill of using a flame torch to mould thin rods of glass into delicate tropical fish-shaped beads. Tutor jewellery designer and glass artisan Leah Kelly has been creating unique jewellery from hand made glass beads for the past decade.
Snow Slingers
When: Saturday, June 24, to Sunday, July 9
Where: Grand Central Shopping Centre
Cost: Free
What: This school holidays, Grand Central is being transformed into a winter wonderland using augmented and virtual reality! Sling virtual snowballs at your opponent in the Centre Court, play Capture the Flag with your smartphone, create your own Snow Slinger at the Avatar Creation Station or design your own keep cup. Participating can give you a chance to win a $100 gift card.
Teddy Bears Picnic
When: Saturday, July 1, 10am to 2pm
Where: Cobb+Co Museum, 27 Lindsay St
Cost: Free for TRC residents
What: There is a very special guest coming to the Teddy Bears Picnic - Play School's own Zindzi Okenyo! Families are invited to bring their picnic blankets and teddies along for a fun day of games, face painting, balloon twisting, storytelling and more. You can also make your own teddy in the Teddy Bears Workshop for $16 per person, including all materials.
