What a Star

NOT wanting something that looked the same as everything else, Geoff Richards decided on a purple and green colour scheme for his new Western Star.

This one is the latest addition to the fleet, he's got about 20 of them and they all look different.

Mr Richards said keeping the trucks different meant each driver had a special truck and that's the way they liked it.

Rocklea Truck Electrical has customised this rig to the max.

Extras include a Sleeper Air diesel air-conditioning system and Allemlube automatic lubrication system.

There's a 14-inch custom drop visor, reskinned mirrors and fitted lights and stainless weather shields.

RTE has relocated the horns and fitted bullet lights to the roof as well as added seven-inch bullhorn Silverback stacks.

They've stainless wrapped the fuel tanks, added tank step trims, used custom low mount guards and added a custom tail light bar.

There's custom lower bunk infill, lights fitted into the rear wall and propeller plate walk plates.

Other features include wing trims, tool box, Great White driving lights, air cleaner lights, headlight backer and LED headlights, lower bumper LEDs, exhaust drip trays, lift exhaust shields and chrome LED mirror back-up lights.
