WHAT do you get when you put a group of teenagers on a stage, give them a dose of love's bitter brew and add music?

The answer is this year's all singing, all dancing To Glee or Not to Glee extravaganza.

In its fourth year, the event has grown to become a highlight of the annual USQ Shakespeare Festival and the chance for high schoolers to perform in a fun and non-competitive environment.

Performances were inspired by one of four themes, each based on a line from the play Much Ado About Nothing.

Concordia Lutheran College vice-captain Luke Lanham school's performance was the story of ruined love - "going to the chapel" and getting "shot through the heart".

"We weren't focused on it being too serious and really enjoyed ourselves. We got a few funny looks rehearsing around school."
