Jon Wallis chats to John and Paul

WE had stopped by the Mood Food Truckstop at Kempton for a bite to eat the other day when the ever-amiable John Smith from Kempton (left) and Paul Lane from Mangalore (right) dropped in for a cuppa and a quick bite to eat.

John was driving a Southern Midlands Council 2008 Isuzu Euro IV FRR rigid with a Hiab crane, and they were currently doing routine maintenance.

Paul said: "You know, pot-holing, and all that sort of thing in the Kempton area today, and enjoying the beautiful Tasmanian weather. It's a great job, and the Isuzu is a great highway truck, ideal for the job."

They reckoned it had been a great New Year and 2012 was looking good so far!
