We chat with Trucking in Tasmania truckies

STOPPING at the Caltex at Epping Forest, it was a great pleasure to catch up with Linda and Chris Poulton from Westbury when they dropped in for a refreshment break and a cuppa there.

Linda is the founder of the new truckie's site on Facebook, Trucking in Tasmania, and does a great job keeping us all entertained and informed there. So have a look and tell her we sent you.

Linda has her own cleaning business which allows her the flexible time to indulge her love of trucks and running the website, as well as caring for five-year-old Charley.

Husband Chris drives a Western Star 4800 FX towing stock crates for Hingston's and tells us he loves the job, and the outfit. His only regret in life is that he hasn't somehow managed to get a truck of his own, yet.

Linda added that his accountant has threatened him with death, if he ever does...

Asked about time off?

"Not a lot of that nowadays," they told us.
