TRUCKS can't stop on a dime.
The driver of a car in Perth found that out the hard way after cutting in front of a truck in Perth.
Andrew S from Perths Worst Drivers shared a video with Dash Cam Owners Australia of the crash.
The footage shows a car cutting in front of a truck before slowing down. The truck, with nowhere to go, plows into the back of the car, which is sent careening into another vehicle.
"This is what it's like driving a truck in Perth," the post read.
"People do really dumb things. The driver of the car was ok."
The post attracted hundreds of comments, shares and likes, with most of them showing support for the truck driver and labelling the car's manouever as "dangerous".
"Spending a few hours, even as a passenger, in a truck should be a part of getting your license," wrote Simone Harry.
"People just don't understand until they see it for themselves."
However, some said the truck was at fault, for not leaving a safe gap for the car to merge into and for not hitting the breaks soon enough.
