WARREN Pearson

WARREN Pearson has been trucking for 35 years, and the first rig he drove was an Austin eight-wheeler tray top carting wire out of Newcastle doing local runs in the district.

Years have marched on by and these days Warren cracks the whip in a 2004 Power Star.

Under the bonneted rig is a Cummins Signature 600hp engine with an 18-speed gearbox.

Warren said it's a good set up.

The Power Star rides on airbag suspension pulling a B-double Freighter flat top trailer, carting steel, salt and timber or floor tiles.

Warren does mainly Newcastle to Adelaide or the odd trip to Brisbane.

Warren steers for Graeme Anderson Transport from yes, you guessed it, Newcastle.

Go you Knights!

In his spare time Warren likes to dangle a line and catch a fish or two.
