WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO:Driver shares traumatic roll footage

A TRUCK driver who escaped serious injury has shared his experience of a truck rollover in shocking dash cam footage.

The footage, which was submitted to Dash Cam Owners Australia, shows the moment his truck rolled over at a roundabout in Ormeau.

"No broken bones but heaps of injuries, my left ear was sewn up as it was in half, the main damage was the seat belt and the tool box coming out from under the bed and smashing my scull, still it could be far worse," Steve, who sent in the video, said.

The crash happened at around 1.45pm on Monday at Creek St and Eggersdorf Rd.

Two fire crews were sent to help the driver out of the truck and he was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that the man was carrying a large load of heavy rocks when it rolled over, spilling on the road.
