Want to be a greener business?

NEW and existing business owners are now invited to register their interest in the $1.2 billion Clean Technology Program expected to commence in 2012.

There are three components to the program, each providing incentives for businesses to reduce emissions as part of the Federal Government's Clean Energy Future Plan.

The Clean Technology program is designed for businesses involved in:

  • manufacturing, including food manufacturing
  • foundry or metal forging
  • research and development of new clean technologies.
  • The program will provide grants to support investment in new technologies and energy efficient equipment. Grants are expected to be open for applications in mid 2012.
