Urgent action needed to address North Korea threat

WHEN considering the possible actions of North Korea, following their testing of missiles armed with possible nuclear explosives, as well as their open attitude against all who do not fully go along with them, it is essential we properly consider what is likely to happen if the North Korean leader is not fully satisfied.

Many of us remember what happened in Japan that brought the Second World War to an end, and there cannot be any who actually want something even worse to hit our world again - possibly including Australia this time.

So what must we do?

There is no way that North Korea's demands can simply be granted, and no way we are likely to be able to talk their leader out of committing some really terrible action - we have already witnessed what he is happy to do to ordinary men, women and children with a killing gas.

Imagine what a nuclear weapon could do.

It seems the question actually is down to "who goes first?".

And we really do need to have it made crystal clear if we have the full backing of China and other countries, to form a special alliance that will act in full cooperation with each other and whatever action is taken, if any is.

How much longer can we wait?
