9.25am: TWO people have been taken to Rockhampton Hospital after a two-vehicle crash in the CBD this morning.

The Queensland Ambulance Service reports the two people were in a stable condition when transported from the crash on the corner of Derby and Denison Streets.

They had minor injuries.

8.40am: EMERGENCY services are responding to multiple reports of a two vehicle crash in the CBD.

The crash has occurred on the corner of Derby and Denison Streets and it is believed both vehicles are still on the road.

Reports indicate there was smoke coming from at least one vehicle.

It is believed an elderly man is still sitting in one of the vehicles and an air bag was deployed.
