Two taken to hospital after Cunningham Highway crash

UPDATE 8.30am: Two people have been transported to Warwick Hospital after a crash on the Cunningham Highway this morning.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said a vehicle left the road and crashed into Freestone Creek, which was dry.

One person suffered head injuries in the crash.

Both people were transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics were called to the scene, about 4km east of Warwick, at 6.55am.

INITIAL 7.15am: A vehicle has crashed on the Cunningham Highway east of Warwick this morning.

Paramedics are on their way to the scene, which is reportedly near Freestone Creek about 5km outside the city centre.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said more details about the crash should be confirmed when paramedics arrived at the scene.
