Two days and nights for drag racing lovers

DRAG RACING action returns tomorrow and saturday with round four of the Central QLD Drag Racing Asscociation Championships.

While the main stuff happens on Saturday, there will be a taste of things to come tomorrow night.

From 6pm tomorrow, there will be an off street meeting where spectators can get close and personal with the drivers and their machines.

Gates open from 5pm with racing to commence an hour later and go through to 10pm.

Saturday's program includes qualifying from 12.30pm until 4.30pm with finals racing from 5pm until late.

The different categories will feature Super Comp, Competition, Modified Bike, Twins Bike, Super Street, Street and Juniors tomorrow and Saturday.

Weather conditions are foreecast to be ideal with mild day time temperatures in the low 20s before falling to the mid to high teens in the evenings.
