Two arrested after caught sword fighting on street

TWO people have been arrested after allegedly fighting with swords on a Southern Downs street this morning.

Warwick police were called to the incident on Stuart St about 11am with reports two people armed with swords were fighting in the street.

Officers arrested both parties and charged them with public nuisance offences.

One person is due to face a second charge of threatening acts of violence.
