TV reception down across Southern Downs

MISSING out on your afternoon soaps?

You're not alone.

Free to air television reception is down across the Southern Downs, with people turning to social media to find out what's happened.

Reports are coming in from as far as Inglewood, Stanthorpe and Millmerran of empty airwaves this morning, sparking some panic on classifieds groups on Facebook.

It's believed a fault with the Passchendaele transmittor is behind the outage.

The fault is also affecting the Mt Tabor transmitter.

Services are expected to be down for 30 minutes, according to reports on social media.
