Tully’s baby announcement buoys dramatic night on MKR

THE nation already knows she's expecting, but viewers finally saw Sarah Tully deliver the good news to her fellow cast mates on My Kitchen Rules last night.

The Quilpie native, who now lives in Brisbane with her husband Kurt, thought Karen and Ros' baby-themed instant restaurant, inspired by their jobs as midwives, was the perfect time to tell the other teams what only she, her team mate Della Whearty and a few producers knew.

"I've been sitting on this secret for a while now and I just feel like the powers of MKR are staring me in the face and I just feel like I'm going to burst," Sarah said.

Their hosts were ecstatic, breaking into applause at the good news.

"What a beautiful surprise," Ros said.

Karen added: "An MKR baby on the way, and the announcement sat our instant restaurant - perfect place!"

Sarah told the Western Times is was a relief to finally tell the other teams.

"I think it explained a lot for a lot of the teams as to why I was so tired and I didn't hang out at all the off-camera get togethers," she said.

Her good news was later overshadowed by Della's stoush with Josh, which then resulted in Court's dramatic walk out.
