Aidan Hodge

YOUNG truckie Aidan Hodge loves driving a Hino Dutro for the West Coast Council from his base at Zeehan in Tasmania.

Although aged just 26, Aidan is already an experienced driver.

"I have been driving it for seven years and carry gravel, road base material and anything else required.

"It is a great truck and gets on rough roads," he said.

A talented Australian Rules footballer, Aidan plays for the Rosebery Toorak side which contests the North West Football Association competition.

"I am a winger or centre man and love my job and the sport. Also I like motor bike riding around Zeehan," he said.

At some stage Aidan hopes to get behind the wheel of much bigger trucks.
