Jason Vanderlinden

YOUNG truckie Jason Vanderlinden could aptly be described as Junior by his workmates.

At the tender age of 22, Jason gets to drive many trucks, including the Ford Louisville 9000.

"I just enjoy working on this so much and life here in the tropics is a bit different from Melbourne," he said.

Jason was stunned when told the average age of an Australian truck driver was over 50.

With the AFL season now in full swing, Jason reckons his beloved Essendon will charge up the ladder this year.

Sticking with the strength in the NRL, Jason is a fan of reigning premiers Melbourne Storm.
