Darryl Stewart

CARDWELL based owner/driver Darryl Stewart was working on his Kenworth when we saw him at the BP Cluden on the outskirts of Townsville on April 12.

"I have been a truckie for 20 years and an owner/driver for the past 14," he said.

His company name is Millennium Haulage and 46-year-old Darryl likes Cardwell which is 160km north of Townsville and 190km south of Cairns.

"I like going motorbike riding around Cardwell when I get the chance," he said.

Darryl likes the BP Cluden because of the big parking area and central location.

When asked the worst road he travels along Darryl was quick to reply.

"The highway on the other side of Gin Gin is terrible," he said.
