Chris Heard

WHEN Big Rigs saw Chris Heard on December 3, he was doing repairs to the wiring on his Freightliner B-double.

"When I used the right-hand blinker the tail light came on," he said.

It didn't take long for this Jack of all trades to rectify the problem.

The 55-year-old Chris is based at Blackall and his double-deck trailer road train can haul up to 60 stock, depending on their weight.

"I have brought stock from Aramac to the Townsville Meatworks," he said.

Chris hopes to spend time with family over Christmas and has two new year resolutions.

"To make more dollars in 2015, and play a lot of golf," he said.

Chris has a handicap of 18 "which is coming down" and enjoys his sport at Blackall Golf Course.
