Neil Denning

HAPPY truckie Neil Denning drives a 2006 Freightliner for Greg McCahill Transport.

Big Rigs saw Neil on August 24 just as he was leaving the Burdekin Duck Roadhouse, which is 20km from Charters Towers.

"I am carrying sand from the Burdekin to Charters Towers and it is a good job," he said.

The 43-year-old has been a truckie for two decades and can't see that changing in the near future.

"I do a lot of deliveries around this area and barrack for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL," he said.

During his off time, Neil spends a lot of it working on his home, which is on a property between Townsville and Charters Towers.
