Truckin’ in the Tropics - Monique Abra

MONIQUE Abra was with partner Chris when we saw them at the BP Cluden Townsville on June 17.

Chris is an owner operator and the business is is based in Brisbane.

They were driving a 2006 Freightliner Argosy which needed some work while up north.

Whilst Chris was coy about having his pic snapped, Monique was delighted to.

Monique travels with Chris and does administration.

“We mainly move heavy machinery and brought up a load of pipes and pallets,” she said.

They like stopping at the BP Cluden and the Puma at Calliope.

Monique said the Bowen Development Road was challenging to drive along.

In their off-time, they enjoy a spot of fishing.

While in Townsville they went fishing off the renowned Strand and caught themselves a cat fish.
