TRUCKIE Justin Jaensch has been a steering wheel attendant for five years.
The first big banger he drove was a Kenworth COE K100G, and a Cummins N14 did the job to get it riding. He was driving for a local farmer out at Moorlands just a grain husk away from Tailem Bend in South Australia. These days young Justin steers a Kenworth T 608 and packed away under the bonnet is a Cummins ISX, pumping out 585 Gee Gees. He swings his left arm to an 18-speed Road Ranger.
The big jigger rides on air bag suspension, pulling a 34-foot Lusty EMS alloy tipper. He runs across South Australia and into Mexico (Victoria) carting grain.
Justin cracks the whip for Glen Carron P/L from Beachport, a hop and skip from the Princess Hwy in South Australia.
