IMAGINE this: you're just trying to do your job, deliver your load and get home. But then you see an idiot on the road doing something dangerously stupid in front of you.

Unfortunately, that's the reality for Australia's truckies.

Driver Simon Cherrill shared one of his own dash cam videos to the Facebook group Truck Dash-Cam Australia, highlighting some of the stupid behaviour truckies see on the road frequently.

The video, taken on the Kwinana Freeway at South Perth, shows a ute appear to drift over three lanes of traffic, smash into a road barricade, drift back over the lanes of traffic, smash into the opposite wall and spin around.

"(I) have seen lots of idiots do a lot of silly and stupid things on the roads, but nothing quite like that," Simon said.

"Not sure if he had a tyre blow out or just lost control when he put his foot down because the road was slightly wet from rain earlier in the day.

"I wasn't sure what to think at the time, but holy s*it, what is this bloke doing? And then he hit the wall and airbags went off and I started hitting the brakes, thinking I was going to clean him up.

"Lucky I was empty and not loaded (60t).

"Then he had just enough momentum to keep spinning and just skimmed passed him."
