Truck flip closes roads, causing major delays

A TRUCK rollover is causing headaches for drivers in West Melbourne this morning.

Dynon Road is closed in both directions at Dock Link Road following the crash which left a truck flipped on its side.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the truck hit the Dynon Road Bridge, which had a clearance height of 4.4 metres.

Diversions are in place for all city-bound traffic via Kensington Road.

Traffic heading out of the city is diverting down Dock Link Road.

A VicRoads spokesperson said motorists should use Footscray Road to avoid the crash.

Emergency services are on site and will reopen the major road when safe.

MFB tweeted they were working to clear the scene but said delays will remain in place for some time.
