Truck driver ‘centimetres from death’

AN EMERGENCY worker at the scene of a truck crash in Victoria this afternoon said the driver of the larger truck was "centimetres from death".

The Geelong Advertiser reported the crash that happened at 1pm, involved two trucks that had collided along the Hamilton Highway at Stonehaven.

It's understood a larger truck, travelling toward Hamilton, and a smaller Geelong bound truck collided when one vehicle cross the centre-line.

The road, near Pollocksford Rd, is closed in both directions.
