Truck driver, 23, dead in accident at Upper Dawson

FORENSIC Crash Unit officers are investigating after a 23-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash at Upper Dawson  yesterday. 

Preliminary information suggests at around 1.15pm a rigid truck was travelling north on the Carnarvon Highway, approximately 53kms from Injune, when it lost control and rolled off the road into a culvert.

The driver and sole occupant, a 23-year-old Yarrabilba man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to contact police.
