Truck bursts into flames on busy Toowoomba road

EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a truck on fire at a busy Toowoomba intersection this afternoon.

Fire crews were called out at 2.10pm to the corner of Anzac Ave and James St.

The truck was well-alight when crews arrived but the driver escaped uninjured.

The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes but the road remains closed as fire crews clear the scene.
