Training needed to understand diaries

LIKE it or not, the work diary is a tool of the trade.

But Scotty Dee said the problem was not with the book, it was that licences were handed out without any training regarding how the book works.

"When new drivers don't understand it, they ask other drivers for help. But who's saying that driver knows what he/she is talking about?" he said.

"I'd imagine half would not have even read the glossary at the front of the book to understand what a 'major break' is for instance. It's really not that hard to understand and avoid fines if they have the right guidance."
