Major Bruce Hwy delays after truck, car collide on ramp
UPDATE 2.05PM: A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash between a truck and car that caused traffic chaos for the Bruce Highway.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of the Bruce Highway ramp and Wilson Rd at Tanawha, at the Sunshine Motorway Interchange after the nose-to-tail crash was reported at 1.20pm.
A woman, aged in her 60s, was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Highway congestion between the Caloundra Rd and Sunshine Motorway interchanges is gradually easing, but motorists can still expect long delays.

BREAKING 1.30PM: Emergency crews are rushing to the scene of a crash on a Bruce Highway ramp, as traffic grinds to a halt.
The nose-to-tail collision reportedly involved a truck and car, at the intersection of Wilson Road and the Bruce Highway ramp at the Sunshine Motorway interchange.
In just five minutes congestion has grown at a rapid rate, with major delays for northbound highway drivers approaching the interchange.
Banked traffic now extends back to the Frizzo Rd on-ramp.
