Topical comedy and dinner

UP Eumundi Road is a fast-paced news satire written by local man John D. Burls that is so topical it even contains a song about the ousting of Malcolm Turnbull.

The evening also features a myriad of risqué one-liners and short vaudevillian skits.

The writing has real political bite, with highlights including a song about Anna Bligh cooking a lungfish on Celebrity Masterchef, and a ballad to Peter Garrett lamenting that talk was cheap when he was in rock and roll.

After 15 successful years there are rumours this could be the last show and tickets are selling out fast.

A buffet style dinner is served at the start and there is a licensed bar.

Up Eumundi Road is showing at the Indee at Eumundi on:

Friday, December 4th - 6.30pm
Saturday, December 5th  - 6.30pm
Sunday, December 6th - 2pm
