TOP TRUCKIN' THINGS TO DO
THINGS are certainly cranking up out there as 2019 unfolds. If there is a fundraiser for our drought and bushfire hit rural communities or for the flood ravaged Queensland, do what you can to help them out. Every little bit helps.
February 23: Tractor Pull and Swap Meet
WHERE: Gundagai Showgrounds, Gundagai
PRESENTED by the Australian Road Transport Heritage Centre, the Tractor Pull and Swap Meet will include vintage machinery, truck show and shine, tractor pulls, and lots more.
March 2 and 3: Altona Truck and Trade Show
WHERE: Melbourne Ballpark, Altona
THE show will feature trucks, entertainment and trade displays.
It's open from 9am on both days.
March 9 and 10: Moonbi/Kootingal Motor Show and Historical Machinery Exhibition
WHERE: Moonbi Showgrounds, Moonbi, north of Tamworth
THE show will include classic cars, hot rods, street cars, vintage and veteran cars and trucks, tractors, bikes and more.
There will be plenty of market stalls, trade stalls, antique and collectables as well as craft and art demonstrations and swap sites.
It's open from 9am.
March 10: Ninth Annual Historic Vehicle Show
WHERE: Clunes Showground, Clunes
CHECK out all of the vintage and classic vehicles, trucks, caravans, motorbikes, nostalgic speedway cars, engines and machinery, and ride-on racing mowers on display at the Historic Vehicle Show.
It's on from 9am-4pm. Entry is $5.
March 16 and 17: Eighth Australian White Truck Muster
WHERE: Kyabram Showgrounds, Kyabram
THE weekend will feature White and associated truck brands as well as all other trucks, buses, cars, tractors and memorabilia displays.
It's open from 9am both days.
March 17: Sixth Annual Truck and Tractor Show
WHERE: Murrumburrah Harden Showground, Murrumburrah.
FEATURING Bedford Trucks and International Tractors and welcoming all manner of other vehicles including classic trucks and tractors, working trucks, buses, fire engines, military vehicles, stationary engines and classic cars.
March 22 to 24: National Historic Machinery Rally; 17th National Rally
WHERE: Murray Bridge, South Australia
THIS will be a really different and interesting three-day event to visit.
There will be more than 1000 exhibits expected including vintage working machinery and engines, live steam, vintage cars, bikes and tractors, a tractor pull and much much more.
March 30 and 31: Haulin' the Hume
WHERE: Following the Old Hume Highway out of Sydney to Yass
RELIVE some of the sounds, sights, and smells of the pre-emissions era when trucking was making its mark building our amazing country.
The run will start at the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park, head through Razorback, through the Hole in the Wall at Picton, then through the Cullerin Range, into Gunning and then Yass.

March 31: 32nd Penrith Working Truck Show
WHERE: Museum of Fire, 1 Museum Dr, Penrith, NSW.
BACK for its 32nd year, the Penrith Working Truck Show will have hundreds of vehicles on display, from huge B-doubles to custom trucks, plastered with chrome detailing and spectacular airbrushing, as well as the collection of fire engines of the museum.

WHERE: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Bank, Brisbane

May 16-19: Brisbane Truck Show
WHERE: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane.
