IT'S HALFWAY way through 2017 already and yet there's still so many things to see and do out there in the world of trucking this year.

Here a few truckin' and related events to keep you going...

Wauchope Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Show

Held July 8-9 at Wauchope Showgrounds, Wauchope NSW.

The event features historic and late model working trucks, vintage cars, tractors, machinery, motorcycles, stationary engines and more.

Free camping for exhibitors.

Model Truck Show

Vince Ziino, model truck columnist for WA Transport Magazine, has announced the WA Truck Modellers will be staging a Model Truck Show featuring both static and remote control model trucks.

The event will be held July 23 at the Cyril Jackson Hall, Fisher St, Ashfield in Perth.

Big Boys Toys Expo

Held August 19-20 at Exhibition Park, Lyneham, Canberra. It's about nearly every serious Big Boys Toy you've ever thought about owning, and then some.

The live demonstration Expo will be a vibrant showcase of Big Boys Toys.

It's open to the public from 10am-4pm on both days, and it's suitable for the whole family.

Kids under 15 can enter with a gold coin donation which will go to support the work of Menslink Canberra.

CAT-TNT Car Carriers Reunion

Held at the Lawson Motor Inn, Tarcutta St, Wagga Wagga.

Open to all employees who worked for CAT (Complete Auto Transit) and TNT Car Carrying from 1975-1995.

Starts at 5pm. Finger food, BYO drinks. $35 per head.

Saturday, September 30, the NSW 2017 Labour Day long weekend.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids

Gates open at 10.30am, Redcliffe Showgrounds on Scarborough Rd, Redcliffe on Saturday, November 4.

Convoy leaves Heathwood at 9.30am sharp.

The day will also include free rides, fireworks, an auction, entertainment and more.

All money raised in aid of Hummingbird House.

Matty Hillcoat's Truckies Day Out

Raising funds to Stamp out SIDS, the event will take place at the Gympie Showgrounds on Saturday, October 7.

Truck and ute show, with heaps of family entertainment including tractor pull, chainsaw racing, pig racing, kid's entertainment, band, bar and food stalls.

Gates open at 10am.

Fathers' Day specials:

22nd Rusty Iron Rally

Held September 2 at the Macksville Showground, Macksville, NSW.

Previous Rallies have featured two Steam traction engines together, a 52 ton Centurion Tank, a tug-of-war between a tractor and a V8 Mack truck, and lots of other fun and games.

Vintage trucks, cars, and motorbikes are also on display. Each year, at least one local area charity benefits financially from money raised at our rally.

Bellarine Vintage Machinery Group's Fathers' Day Vintage Display

A huge collection and showcase of cars, trucks, bikes, steam engines and other machinery.

It's on at The Bellarine Railway, Drysdale Station precinct, 2-10 Station St, Drysdale, Victoria on Sunday, September 3.

For those who were part of the group, especially between 1975 and 1995.
