Geelong Classic Truck and Machinery Show

Where: 79 Breakwater Rd, Geelong Vic

JANUARY plays host to one of the biggest and best displays of classic trucks, tractors, cars, machinery plus much more.

As well as having a range of visiting clubs and displays, the event also showcases the vintage machinery section's own pavilion with more than 15 fully operational steam engines, 12 permanently installed oil engines, a 1000 horsepower marine steam engine, a wool scouring machine, and a large collection of steam models.

The Show is renowned for having the biggest and best display of restored working vintage machinery and tractors in Australia and attracts people from all over this country and even quite a few enthusiasts from overseas.

For its fouth year in a row, the vintage tractor pull returns to the Geelong Classic Truck and Machinery Show for 2017.

Some 70 tractors take part in this not to be missed event demonstrating the pulling power and torque of the machines that worked the land over the last 100 years.

If you have a special piece of machinery in your shed, which you would like to share with the visitors to the vintage show, the organisers would love to hear from you!

Entry for adults $10, kids under 15 free, exhibitors free and camping available for exhibitors. Show starts at 9am finishes 5pm.

Koroit Truck Show

Where: Koroit Showgrounds, VIC

When: January 21

THE Koroit Truck Show is to be held at the Koroit Showgrounds.

Attendees can expect a truck show and shine (prime movers only), live music, camping, bar, truckie 50m sprint, food, market stalls, entertainment for the kids and even some cars and bikes. An impressive $10,000 in prizes is on offer.

Tooradin Truck Show and Tractor Pull

Where: Rutter Reserve, Tooradin, VIC

THE Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show has been a annual event since 1998 and has grown into a fabulous family day.

It is a non-profit event run by a committee of local community people putting all proceeds back into local clubs, schools and various charities.

The truck show runs from 10am-6pm. No BYO. Adults $25, kids $10, family $60.

Heywood Truck and Ute Show

Where: North Bank, Heywood Rec Reserve, Vic

They Heywood Wine And Roses festival presents a massive day and evening full of entertainment for the whole family.

It's a day not to be missed with more than $26,000 in prizes up for grabs.

There will be a street parade, circus, truck simulator, live bands day and night, reptile petting zoo, kids activities, free overnight camping, trade stalls, new truck display, food and market stalls plus fireworks.

Gates open at 7am, entries close 11am, winners announced about 2.30pm.
