Hall of Fame

Where: National Road Transport Museum, Alice Springs.

When: August 25-29.

THIS year we will celebrate 21 years of the National Road Transport Hall of Fame and for the 16th year, Shell Rimula is again proud to be a partner supporting the Wall of Fame, acknowledging the achievements and lifetime commitment of the Australian road transport community.

Formula Chemicals Truck Week event

Where: Melrose Park Public School at Wharf Road, West Ryde, NSW.

When: September 1.

THE Truck Week 2016 function this year will run for the entire week, however one event during that week is the Formula Chemicals display.

They will have catering, as well as politicians, the fire brigade, highway patrol and a range of trucks.

Cars and trucks are asked to arrive between 8.30 and 9.30am.

Lowood Truck Show

Where: Lowood Show Grounds - Lindemans Road, Lowood, Qld.

When: August 27.

ESTABLISHED 2014 raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation, this little town Truck Show is out to impress.

The show commences with a vehicle parade through Main St, Lowood at 11am.

Bikes, cars and trucks will be on display and more than 30 trophies are up for grabs. It's a family event, with kids rides, trade and food stands, bar and entertainment.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome and all money raised goes to Buy a Bale, helping support Australia's rural communities and farmers.

This is a great charity event and one that is always a lot of fun.

Deniliquin Truck Show and Industry Expo

Where: Memorial Park, Deniliquin.

When: September 10.

THE show will include a show and shine, industry information and technology, trade displays, bar facilities, catering, live music, children's entertainment and much more.

COMMENCING at Beresfield, travelling sections of the old Pacific Highway, ending at Wauchope Showground.

Entry fee $45 per vehicle, all vehicles must be registered.

NSW vehicles over 30 years old, Victoria vehicles over 25 years old.

All proceeds to Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
