Gold Coast Truck Show

Where: Mudgeeraba Showgrounds - Exit 77 off the M1 Highway

When: August 21

A huge exhibition with everything on wheels. The Gold Coast Car Show, which includes the Truck Show, runs over two days and kicks off on the Saturday evening from 3pm with the Retro Rock 'n' Shine Night.

The Truck Arena always attracts a crowd with prime movers and trucks of every kind displaying amazing graphics, polished chrome and lights.

Truck entry at Gate 3, Worongary Rd, from 6am on the day. Public entry from 7am and children 12 and under enter for free.

Road Transport Hall of Fame

Where: National Road Transport Museum, Alice Springs

When: August 25-29

THIS year we will celebrate 21 years of the National Road Transport Hall of Fame and for the 16th year, Shell Rimula is again proud to be a partner supporting the Wall of Fame, acknowledging the achievements and lifetime commitment of the Australian road transport community.

About 80 individuals inducted into the coveted Shell Rimula Wall of Fame.

Deniliquin Truck Show and Industry Expo

Where: Memorial Park, Deniliquin

When: September 10

The show will include a show and shine, industry information and technology, trade displays, bar facilities, catering, live music, children's entertainment and much more.

Where: Wauchope Yesteryear Truck & Machinery Club

When: October 1-2

Commencing at Beresfield, travelling sections of the old Pacific Highway, ending at Wauchope Showground.

Entry fee $45 per vehicle, all vehicles must be registered.

NSW vehicles over 30 years old, VIC vehicles over 25 years old.

All proceeds to Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

Where: Corner of Fitzgerald Rd and Swann Dr, Derrimut, Vic

See the Show 'n' Shine, grab a bargain at the annual KDM pallet sale, and catch some live music.

Bring the kids along too, there will be plenty of activities to keep them busy.

The show runs from 8am-2pm and there is a charity raffle with $5000 in prizes - tickets are just $5.
