1. Lights on the Hill Memorial Convoy Weekend
Where: Gatton Racecourse
When: October 1-2
DUAL convoys on Saturday will be leaving Roches Road, Withcott and Citiswitch, Bundamba at 10am and converging on the Gatton Race Course. There is live entertainment all night plus an auction.
Sunday morning is the memorial service at 10am at Lake Apex, Gatton. Then it's back to the Racecourse for the NRL grand final on the big screen with more live bands all day.
The LOTH Convoy Weekend will be a fun-filled two day event, with live entertainment, a 40sq m LCD TVs screen, auction, stalls and rides.
This event is not one to miss, always proving to be a memorable experience and a great chance to honour truckies taken too soon.

2. Pacin' the Pacific
Where: Wauchope Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Club
When: October 1-2
STARTING at Beresfield, travelling sections of the old Pacific Highway, ending at Wauchope Showground.
Entry fee $45 per vehicle, all vehicles must be registered.
NSW vehicles over 30 years old, Victoria vehicles over 25 years old.
All proceeds to Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

3. Kenworth DAF Melbourne Charity Truck Show
Where: Cnr Fitzgerald Road and Swann Drive, Derrimut, Vic.
When: October 15.
SEE the Show 'n' Shine, grab a bargain at the annual KDM pallet sale and catch some live music.

4. Phillips Transport Reunion

LENNY Welsh has organised the first ever Phillips Transport reunion for ex-employees including drivers, mechanics etc and their family members.
The reunion is getting bigger every day with a great response.

5. i98FM Illawarra Convoy
Where: Croome Road Sporting Complex
When: November 20
This year's i98FM Illawarra Convoy will depart under police escort from the Illawarra Coal's West Cliff Colliery on Appin Rd at about 8am and follow a route that will take them down Mt Ousley through Warrawong and past Stockland Shellharbour, then on to Croome Rd, Albion Park Rail.
The action continues with a free Family Fun Day at the Croome Road Sporting Complex, when the registered motorbikes and trucks begin arriving about 9am.
The fun day includes lots of great local entertainment, rides and stalls.
Last year's Convoy saw 764 trucks and 960 motorbikes pass through the Illawarra on the 70km journey from Appin Rd to Croome Rd in Albion Park Rail.
At the end of the day, a total of $1,725,057.44 was raised - marking the biggest year in the event's 11-year history and taking the grand total to $7,716,360 raised since 2005.
