Toowoomba gears up for Western Star Show n Shine

PENSKE Commercial Vehicles will host the 2018 Western Star Trucks Show n Shine at the Toowoomba
Showgrounds this Saturday, November 17.

Following the success of last year's inaugural Show n Shine, the event is an opportunity for Western Star
enthusiasts to display their machinery while enjoying a fun day out with family and friends.

Starting at 2pm, the event will include a wide array of entertainment.

Award‐winning country musician, Troy Cassar‐Daley, will perform a twilight set with tracks off his recently
released album, "Greatest Hits".

Fresh back from Nashville, Australian recording artist and founder of Toowoomba's Backroad Bash Music
Festival, Mick Lindsay, will also perform.

Earlier in the day, attendees will be able to meet and greet with Shell V‐Power Racing Team Supercar drivers
Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin from 3pm.

Country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley will release his Greatest Hits double CD via Bloodlines on October 19.

drivers.

Additionally, food and beverage vendors will be on site, as well as plenty of entertainment for children.
As with last year's inaugural event, the 2018 Show n Shine will feature a host of prizes across several categories
including:

  • Best Western Star truck under 10 years (5‐10 years)
  • Best Western Star truck over 10 years

that provides assistance to relieve the resulting poverty, illness, and distress of people impacted by natural
disasters.

"It's a great day out for everyone - whether you are a Western Star or White truck enthusiast, or if you're
after a great community event to see the impressive lineup of trucks, meet with the Shell V‐Power Racing

said Kim Ruddock, general manager of marketing, Penske Transportation Group International.
