Tony is all ready for the fifth Memorial Day

WE RECENTLY called in to see Tony Whitehouse, tireless worker on the Tassie Truckies Memorial Wall, at his home in Perth.

As his friends know, Tony has been having a rough year of it, but he was happily able to have a photo taken and to let us know he is hoping to be back in the seat in the Mack shortly, as he does like Renaults... including ours.

He also wanted to send a shout-out to Sean Hinds, who is doing great things as president of the Hino Appreciation Society, and who will be scouting for new members in January.

The time Tony has spent off has allowed him to get lots of preparation done for the big day and it is "all systems go” for the fifth Memorial Day, which will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 11am at Epping Forest.

Tony said if anyone had anything they wanted to donate for the auction or raffle for the Memorial Day, it would be greatly appreciated.

For more information you can contact Tony on 0417610386, Jonathan on 0410323628 or Adam on 0408330569.
