Time to stop the needless loss of lives
OUR media is so often filled with pictures and stories regarding how terrible so many of us feel about so many things here.
But we also read/hear about the more than 20 million men, women and children facing famine and starvation in Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia and Nigeria.
Surely, if all those demonstrating for more money in many countries were to actually do something to assist the really hard-pressed folk in the countries listed here, our world would be a better place.
Shouldn't the many organisations supposedly there to assist those who most need it, be concentrating on actually helping those who are dying because of a lack of assistance?
Instead of creating all the fuss and bother about those who are not doing all that badly after all.
And that includes the many governments.
