Thousands go to see Capras play

THE grandstands were packed at Browne Park yesterday but it wasn't to be for the Capras, going down 24-40 to the Devils.

But still the sun was out for the more than 2500 fans who came out to enjoy the game. Capras mascot, Trent Huff, said it was great to see so many people at the game.

"It's been a top day, heaps of families, all the kids are loving it," he said.

Today's Capras match was also broadcast live on television with four camera operators capturing the action for audiences across the state.
