Thieves steal from unlocked car

NANANGO police are calling for witnesses after thieves stole from an unlocked car.

Between the hours of 9pm, Friday December 14 and 6am, Saturday December 15, unknown offenders entered an unlocked vehicle on Conroy St, Nanango.

Offenders searched the vehicle, stole property and left.

Police are requesting any witnesses who were in the area or had any CCTV to contact Policelink on 131 444 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A police spokesperson reminded the public to always secure their homes and vehicles.

"Police wish to remind the public to always secure their homes and vehicles. Property crime like the above mentioned is often opportunistic and can be prevented by ensuring houses, sheds and vehicle are locked and secure,” the spokesperson said.
