MONSTER trucks, motorcycles and everything in between will be showcased in Caloundra this weekend when a new expo comes to town.
The Big Boys Toys show has been staged at venues up and down the Queensland coast but this weekend will be the first time it has made its way to the Sunshine Coast.
Organiser Mason Haenga said the event is "not just for the boys" with previous events attracting crowds often comprising at least 50 per cent women.
"Toys don't discriminate and neither do we," he said.
Mr Haenga said the event will have something for everyone, including the kids.
"It's more of an experience rather than a static display," he said.
"We're talking four-wheel-drive vehicles, every type of motorcycle, kids' bikes to learner bikes, jet-skis, boats. We've actually got a helicopter coming to this one as well."
As well as the over-sized toys, the event will also feature "gadgets and gizmos good for the man cave".
Expo owner Lance Collyer said the entertainment on the day will also provide something for everyone.
"I've tried to incorporate about six different shows all in one, with an emphasis on a family day out," he said.
"The Sunshine Coast Show has been much aligned with the successful Mackay Big Boys Toys, which is similar in size and design and is a huge hit with locals.
"We bring local businesses together in a fun atmosphere and add as many items of interest from the local community as we can."
The event will be held at the Caloundra Senior Rugby League Club on November 11 and 12. For more, visit facebook.com/events/ 115694149134882/.
