The Flash S2E11: The Reverse-Flash Returns preview

*spoilers ahead if you haven't seen season two episode nine*

PREVIEW: Are you ready for the return of the Reverse-Flash?

Eobard Thawne's return - not Harrison Wells assuming the identity of season one's big bad mind you, the actual Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) - could throw some major spanners into the works.

In season one the Reverse-Flash was The Flash's (Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin) big bad, but given Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) return this season we don't know how to feel.

Wells was a very bad man last season but the Earth-2 version has so far been good to Barry (on the surface).

We don't know if this is Earth-1's, Earth-2's or some other version of the Reverse-Flash, and therefore have no idea just his intentions are.

More than that, how will Barry react to his return?

Barry has a lot on his plate this week after Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) said she intended to leave Central City.

He was moments away from revealing his identity as the Scarlet Speedster last week, and appears to be given an ultimatum as the Reverse-Flash returns.

A few more things:

- Where is Zoom? We are halfway through the season and it should just about be time for another showdown with The Flash.

- The West story arc is poised for more development. Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally didn't exactly make a good impression on Joe (Jesse L.Martin) last week, thought the street racer didn't seem to care too much.

The Flash airs Wednesdays at 6.30pm (AEST) on Fox 8 (Channel 108).
